The best travel app Ive ever downloaded. Have travelled widely in Canada and US and found the maps accurate and even more useful then Google, which relies on Internet.

Simply put, best of the bunch and now with cloud sync? Awesome.

Have had this app now for almost two years. Travelled Canada, US, Europe and Indonesia. Offline maps are excellent (right down to hiking trails). Once had a support call and actually received an answer. Cant say enough good things about it. Worth the $. Best app on my phone!

Sure glad I listened when this product was recommended to me! In particular, the off line functionality I find very useful. And the maps are accurate. (:-)> There are many features I have yet to explore.

Ive now used this app while traveling through Europe, USA and Cuba a number of times. I love everything about it! So useful to have all my maps for offline use and be able to track my journeys, places I stay notes and so much more. This is the only app you need for all your travels! Highly recommend it!

Absolutely the best offline map app available! Uses Open Street Map data in vector format, meaning small data downloads for large areas of coverage. Now with topographic maps in v3.0 (with IAP)! Awesome! I love you!

Ive spent hundreds on gps apps for iPhone/iPad and nothing comes close to this app. You will not be disappointed.

I really appreciate the offline feature. Once I downloaded the maps. I have them on the road and in different countries.

So far Pocket Earth has been a pretty good GPS app, a good balance between offline hand-held back country stuff, and on road navigation. There see some things that are lacking, but overall its quite good and very versatile.

I havent travelled with it yet but it seems very detailed and has an intuitive way to find local points of interest. I also like that it can provide navigation with the offline maps.

So far this has been great for hiking trails and tracking. Its been very accurate when off line. Havent tested it out fully. This spring we will put it through our back country trail tests.

this app saved me many times with its offline gps, and the in app list of all local hotels/restaurants etc. are invaluable. Ive been using this app frequently since 2013 through 7 different countries and swear by its functionality. Ive only ever encountered one issue with it and it was that it doesnt have fully detailed alleyway systems in Vietnam. I can recommend this app to any backpacker as one of their most valuable tools, to any traveller as a helpful guide when needed; and to any expats living in foreign countries to use the tag feature to easily find your way around new cities.

Works great, but delete maps wont work. Had to delete entire app to clear installed maps then redownload desired maps after reinstall app. (And yes, followed help file instructions but no go.) No big deal, just bit of a pain, frustration, and time wasted trying to delete maps before finally give up and reinstall app instead. (iPad Air 2)

Im a map junkie; dont know why, I just love maps and mapping and this is my favorite iOS mapping app by far. If you like to hike, bike, travel or generally go places without good cellular coverage, youll quickly realize how valuable it is to have maps stored locally on your device.

One of the best map apps in offline mode

I have used Pocket Earth for a few years now for All my travels through Europe, Cuba, USA and Canada. There is nothing that can touch it for on and offline map needs. Very easy to use! Accurate! I love the ability to input and save all the information I need for every stop I bookmark. If I could give them 6 stars I would! Keep up the great work! Love it!
